The STAR Process © training was created to help sales professionals improve their strategic planning skills and positioning with key customers. Our unique STAR (Strategic Thinking Accelerating Results) Process © educates sales professionals on emerging trends that affect your customer’s business and provides a holistic sales process that will help transform your front line team from a “buy/sell” relationship to “partner” status within your accounts, resulting in top line growth and improved gross margins.
Day One – The first day of the training is for the management team, giving them a preview of the training, outlining their role in the training process, and gaining commitment on the follow up items once they return back to the field.
Days Two and Three – We set the stage by identifying the reasons behind why sales reps need to adopt new selling strategies. We cover the emerging market trends and market dynamics that are transforming the traditional supplier/customer relationship. We then teach sales professionals and managers how to create real value for their customers by utilizing strategic planning and execution skills expected from today’s supplier partners. The STAR Process© ties it all together through a formal relationship management process that helps elevate the relationship from “buyer/seller” to partner status.
Executive Leadership Lab
The Executive Leadership Lab is a highly interactive program that places attendees in the business case they are studying. Attendees will review leadership skills from an academic perspective and through practical real world scenarios that will require them to develop answers to unique problems. The Executive Leadership Lab is an incubator for leaders to learn how to deal with mission critical issues, both hard and soft, that affect a company’s profitability. And because the situations are real, attendees will have the opportunity to vigorously debate their chosen strategic decisions with those decisions actually made by the leadership team. The course concludes with a Capstone project challenging attendees to develop their own strategic path for turning around the company and asking them to explain their choices in light of the available information. After this training, attendees leave with knowledge and insights on how to lead teams and how to develop a solid decision making process. This training program is designed for newly appointed managers or any manager that needs to develop their critical thinking skills as they work to advance their management career.
Coaching and Leadership Development
